Online meeting is now the new normal and so is the holding of an online vote. We understand that it raises a number of questions or that you are wondering which option applies to your vote. That is why we have explained the three most frequently asked questions for you.
During the voting period, can I see how many voters have already cast his or her vote?
Yes. You will receive a customer account where you can view the voting results in real time. In this customer account, the results are refreshed every 5 seconds, so that you can immediately view the current status of the voting result. This can be useful when you need a minimum number of votes during a meeting to make a change. In addition, you can easily share this screen during the online meeting, so that all participants of the meeting can also see the results immediately.
When does a weighting factor apply?
A weighting factor applies if one vote counts more heavily than the other. For example, Glastuinbouw Nederland held a meeting online with a weighted vote. Each person entitled to vote received a unique voting code with a weighting factor.
What does a mailing look like when I have the voting codes sent by Onlinestemtool.nl to those entitled to vote?
The mailing looks clear and user-friendly. See an example here. This states the date and time, but also for which ballot they can vote. In addition, there is a step-by-step explanation of how voters can cast a vote, including a link to the voting website. Of course you can also pass on changes yourself or add extra information in this email. Consider, for example, the link of an online meeting or additional information about the vote.
