Online voting during an event

Online Voting Tool is the most suitable voting tool for a closed online election or vote. All voters receive a unique voting code with which they can cast their vote online and anonymously once on the voting website.

But there are more possibilities. In the Municipality of Tiel in the Netherlands, the municipal council adopted a motion at the end of last year about painting the bare wall of the Agnietenhof. In February it was announced that artists could submit a design. The election was held in the Agnietenhof on 7 April. After checking the accuracy of the result, the board confirmed the result. A timeline is now being agreed with the artist to paint the wall of the Agnietenhof stage tower as soon as possible.

During the election, the residents of Tiel voted en masse for the 13 entries. On Monday 7 April, 1,227 votes were cast. "That is a lot more votes than we expected," says alderman Dave Verbeek. The residents of Tiel could pick up their unique voting card during the walk-in on April 7 and vote on the spot for their favorite design.
